Antoine
Dumézy
From jazz to classical, from the keyboard to the blank page — music that listens before it speaks.
Pianist, trained in both jazz and classical music, composing for the stage, cinema and dance.
Antoine Dumézy started the piano at four, gave his first concert at five, and has never left the instrument since. He trained in jazz at the Conservatoire du 9e under Bernard Maury, Manuel Rocheman and Emil Spanyi, then in classical at the Conservatoire de Gennevilliers in the classes of Jean-Louis Caillard, Béata Surianyi, Claudine Mellon and Jean-Christophe Dijoux.
On stage, he leads a duo with Didier Forget and a duo with Brazilian guitarist Fernanda Primo. He regularly accompanies violinist Claire Bucelle, notably at Salle Gaveau for Yann Manbrini's lectures on the cosmos.
A composer and arranger, he wrote the scores for the short films Vent (Casque d'or, 1998) and Des pleins de vide, written and directed by Nicolas Strauss from an original idea by Fatiha Mellal, and performed the live score for the Rokh / Rok Hwang fashion show in 2023. Member of Sacem and Sacd.
The piano alone, or in duet.
On April 19, 2026, Antoine records the first part of his album at Studio Desevedavy Piano in Nantes, founded by Armel Dupas and Vincent Morin Desevedavy. A record that weaves the solo piano with the dialogue of two, with nothing but the instrument and the listening.
